A Native of a Small Town in Middle Georgia, Gena got acquainted with the kitchen at a young age. Her earliest memories are of fresh fruits and vegetables from her parents' farm. Gena is passionate about sharing her modern take on Southern specialties, which are rooted in the Southern classics she was raised on, but freshened with contemporary flavors, lightened up and streamlined for busier lives.
