The Magnetic Propane Tank Gauge works with warm water to let you know how much gas you have left in your tank. Simply apply the magnetic strip as per the instructions and pour warm water down the side of your tank. The color changing strip will give you a decent idea of how much propane you have remaining and when you are ready for a new tank the magnetic strip allows you to remove it and re-apply to the new tank
