Join us, along with Porch Swing Farms, for a cooking class Tuesday, May 9 from 6:00-8:00pm for Pork Chops with Cream and Mustard Sauce (and The Farm Life).
Not sure what to do with a beautiful pork chop? Think an elegant meal is beyond you? In a food rut? We’ll create a beautiful, caramelized pork chop with a rich, not too heavy sauce using Porch Swing Farms special thick cut heritage pork chops. With credit to Nigel Slater, this preparation is a family and farm favorite and will make a novice cook look like a French chef.
We’ll also chat about what heritage, pastured meat is and how we raise ours. Any and all farm questions welcome!
Classes typically run for two hours, and include all dishes you and the chef prepare.
You’ll be offered a glass of wine and provided with water. You’re welcome to bring any beverage of your choice for the rest of the evening. Reserve a spot by calling us at 501-664-6900 or checking-out right here in our online store!
If you are part of a larger party please let us know.
All ticket sales are final. Due to food prep, planning, different chefs and food costs, tickets cannot be transferred to any future classes. You may transfer your seat to someone else for the same date/class.
About Porch Swing Farms
Porch Swing Farm farmers Holly Payne and Aaron Baldwin returned to Arkansas a few years ago and dove into raising up delicious food. On their small farm near Toad Suck, they produce humanely raised, heritage breed, pastured pork and multicolored eggs from pastured, heritage breed, happy hens. All to serve their love of food. Aaron is passionate about cooking delicious meals from better ingredients. Holly wants to be part of a food system that is humane and thoughtful. Together, they eat very well and want to share the experience.
