Join us the evening of Wednesday, April 28, 2021 for a fully hands-on cooking class with Amanda Ivy. Every tamale class with Amanda is a different experience, but she typically has three fully distinct tamale recipes/styles/variations. Each class always includes classic corn masa with pork filling. The other two styles range from local Arkansas Delta tamales to traditional Christmas dessert tamales or a modern take such as vegan tamales with sweet potato masa and collard greens instead of corn husks.
Classes typically run for two hours, and include all dishes you and the chef prepare.
You’ll be offered a glass of wine and provided with water. You’re welcome to bring any beverage of your choice for the rest of the evening. Reserve a spot by calling us at 501-664-6900 or checking-out right here in our online store!
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our classes have a lower cap than ever before- and thus sell out even faster than they did before. If you are part of a larger party please let us know so we can properly arrange our distanced seating accommodations.
Our normal cancellation policy requires more than two days’ notice, but if you or a household member has been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms, we will issue a full refund (or store credit for a future class). Please don’t hesitate to stay safe.
Masks are required during the class except when actively eating and drinking.
