SOLD OUT - April 24th - Hands on Pasta (p.m.)

For this edition of our hands-on pasta series, we will be focusing on shaping and stuffing pasta. We will be learning about the flexible uses of a single dough recipe by using it to craft tortellini, spaghetti, and lasagna al forno. This class will also include techniques for marinara and bechamel sauce, and for stuffing tortellini.


Chef Amanda Ivy is a house favorite here at eggshells. Last year she guided us through numerous private parties and public classes, and this year she will be teaching a monthly hands-on Pasta series focusing on making different styles of pasta and types of sauces each month.

In addition to classes at eggshells, Amanda has a local catering business: Low Ivy Catering, and recently started a food truck of the same name. You may also have seen her on the food network where she has competed in The Great Food Truck Race and Guy's Grocery Games.

Seats at hands-on classes are limited so we are offering this class twice in one day! This is the page for the evening class.

  • Advance reservations are required.

  • The price of admission includes a welcome glass of wine and the dishes the chef prepares. Water will be provided and you are welcome to bring your beverage of choice for the evening.
