Top 6 Wedding Gifts

Posted on August 05, 2014 by Lindsey Gray | 2 Comments

Summer's almost over & the slew of fall weddings is upon us. We're thinking about crisp, beautiful evenings at Marlsgate, delicious rehearsal dinners downtown... and then there's the presents!

Wedding gifts.

The mere mention is enough to strike fear into our poor little hearts. What do we get the happy couple as they start the rest of their lives together? What's thoughtful but not too quirky? Traditional yet forward-thinking? Functional and stylish?

It can be hard, we know. But don't worry!
We've come to the rescue with six of our favorite gifts for newlyweds. Everything on this list is practical, beautiful, and useful for any newly-married couple. Check it out:

1) Arkansas cutting/serving board, made by Arkansan Randy Davidson (RED Blocks)
2) RSVP Stainless Steel cheese slicer
3) Nordic Ware Bavaria bundt pan
4) Wüsthof Classic 6" Cook's Knife
5) Le Creuset 3.5 quart enameled French oven (shown here in Soleil)
6. Moscow Mule copper mug (as seen at Local Lime & the Capitol Bar, to name a few)

You can't go wrong with any of these. Seriously.

If you're still stumped, though, we'd be glad to help you put together the perfect present! Just give us a call or show up in the store & we'll make sure your gift is almost as beautiful as the happy couple!

What's the best gift you've ever received? Let us know in the comments!

PS. If you're gettin' hitched (or are planning a wedding for someone else), make sure you visit us at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette 2014 Fall Bridal Show! Stop by our booth & learn a bit more about how we make wedded bliss into kitchen bliss... and enter to win a cool prize, too!

@Kaylin, isn’t it? Randy Davidson, the artisan, is such an incredible person, too! We’re so happy to have his work in our store. :)
