Join us Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm for a class with Chef Birgül ‘Rose’ Duyar. Turkish cuisine is a beautiful marriage between Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Eastern European foods. Southerners love casseroles, but did you know the Mediterranean has its own version of a casserole? Moussaka is flavorful layers of ground beef, mediterranean spices, eggplant, bechamel sauce and cheese. 

Classes typically run for two hours and include all dishes you and the chef prepare.  

You’ll be offered a glass of wine and provided with water. You are welcome to bring any beverage of your choice for the rest of the evening, and we also sell soft drinks, mineral water and other beverages.  Reserve a spot by calling us at 501-664-6900 or checking out right here in our online store!

All ticket sales are final.  Due to food prep, planning, different chefs and food costs, tickets cannot be transferred to any future classes.  You may transfer your seat to someone else for the same date/class. 

More about the Chef:

Birgül Duyar, affectionally known as Rose, is a caterer for the Turkish community of Arkansas and Little Rock’s Turkish Food Festival. Rose is an active participant in charity work assisting families and children, and also spearheads several outreach programs. For her tireless work, Rose was awarded the Citizen's Achievement Award from the Little Rock Police Department. Currently, she does catering and teaches classes here at Eggshells.
