9/15/25 MEDITERRANEAN: Stuffed Flatbread (Gözleme)

Join us Monday, September 15, 2025 from 6:00pm-8:00pm for a cooking class with Chef Birgül ‘Rose’ Duyar.Turkish cuisine is a beautiful marriage between Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Eastern European foods. It largely focuses on fresh herbs and produce, which has gained it notoriety for being one of the healthiest cuisines in the world. Tonight, Chef Rose will teach you to make Gözleme, a Turkish flat bread that is stuffed with different things like cheeses, veggies and/or meats.

Classes typically run for two hours and include all dishes you and the chef prepare.  

You will be offered a glass of wine and provided with water. You are welcome to bring any beverage of your choice for the rest of the evening, and we also sell soft drinks, mineral water and other beverages.  Reserve a spot by calling us at 501-664-6900 or checking out right here in our online store!

All ticket sales are final.  Due to food prep, planning, different chefs and food costs, tickets cannot be transferred to any future classes.  You may transfer your seat to someone else for the same date/class. 

More about the Chef:

Birgül Duyar, affectionally known as Rose, is a caterer for the Turkish community of Arkansas and Little Rock’s Turkish Food Festival. Rose is an active participant in charity work assisting families and children, and also spearheads several outreach programs. For her tireless work, Rose was awarded the Citizen's Achievement Award from the Little Rock Police Department. Currently, she does catering and teaches classes here at Eggshells.
