Three-Part Summer Series: Cooking Around the World

Ages: 7 to 11 years

Class time: 2:00pm - 4:30pm

Dates: Sundays- June 9th, June 16th, and June 23rd.

Grab your passport and let’s set off on a culinary adventure around the world in this three-part Summer Series! You’ll get to explore flavors from Around the World while having fun in the kitchen and making new friends. 

Our first stop will be Thailand!   

Menu for this class: 

Nom Yen (Thai Pink Milk) 

Pineapple Fried Rice 

Sticky Mango Rice  

This class is more than just a cooking class, you will get to play games, make a craft, and learn about each country’s culture.  

Each student will receive a Passport that will get stamped each time they attend a class.  

You will be standing for most of the class so make sure to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

All ticket sales are final.  Due to food prep, planning, different chefs and food costs, tickets cannot be transferred to any future classes.  You may transfer your seat to someone else for the same date/class.  

 

More about the Chef:

Charlene Kirk has been part of the Eggshells family since 2019. She is the owner/culinary instructor at Creative Culinary Kids which specializes in Garden to Plate Cooking Classes. Charlene is passionate about encouraging both kids and adults to think more about what they are consuming and how it impacts their health and the world they live in. She draws inspiration from her own childhood growing up on a small farm in NW Arkansas learning to garden and cook alongside her mom and grandma and the 15 years she spent living in the United Kingdom. Charlene has a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition and is a train of trainers for the Healthy Meals Challenge program. She has also completed training in Food Nutrition Education from the Food Studies Institute.
